Visual
Arts Student Lee Eunkyoung Is Selected as One of 24 International Glass Artists
by CGS
Together, glasswork by visual artist Lee Eunkyoung,
currently enrolled in a graduate program at the School of Visual Arts, was
singled out at an international open exhibition hosted by the Contemporary
Glass Society (CGS). Founded in 1997, the CGS aims to connect and support glass
artists around the world. In December of the previous year, the CGS organized
an open exhibition on the theme of Hands Across the World and selected
twenty-four glass artists from seventeen countries. Inspired by the phrase, “We
have each other to fall back on now,” Lee’s Together talks
about hope in “being together,” using glass as an art material. The CGS
exhibits the selected works on its official website from 11 January 2021 to 26
February 2021.
