x Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation Host the 7th Dongpyeonje Gukak
Festival
The 7th Dongpyeonje Gukak Festival, arranged by the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation, supervised by the K-Arts, and sponsored by Namwon City in North Jeolla Province, took place in the Bijeon Village, Unbong-eup, Namwon from 2 to 3 October.
To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, aside from the on-site festival
for the villagers, the opening ceremony by the pansori band Leenalchi and the
Tune and the closing ceremony by pansori masters Ahn Sooksun and Lee Bong-geun
were live-streamed online through Naver TV. The VOD services for this event
will be available through the official website and YouTube channel of the Art
Village Project from 18 October to 17 November.
The Art Village Project is a social contribution project in arts and culture by the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation and K-Arts. Since 2015, together with the locals of the art village, the project has promoted and shared the art values.
