Art
Collider Lab Marks Its 10th Anniversary with “2025 Connected Week:
Open Access School”
From Tuesday,
November 11, through Thursday, November 13, at the Seokgwan Campus, Art Collider
Lab (AC Lab), an institute affiliated with K-Arts, hosted the festival “2025
Connected Week: Open Access School.”
This year’s theme
was “Confluence,” referring to a meeting point where flows from all directions
merge to form a newly directed current. The festival celebrated both the tenth
anniversary of AC Lab and the fifth anniversary of the “Connected Campus”
project, which interweaves the arts of a new era while envisioning the future
of arts, technology, and education.
Over the past
decade, under the motto “Collision and New Discovery,” AC Lab has continued
creative experimentation through collaboration and convergence-driven arts
education programs. Through its “Connected Campus” initiative – spanning six
schools within K-Arts and promoting the digital transformation of arts
education – the lab has pursued collaborative and sustainable models of arts
education across diverse genres and academic disciplines.
The festival
reflected AC Lab’s achievements while exploring new possibilities with active
and emerging artists, creators, and professionals from various fields. The
event featured a range of programs, including exhibitions, lectures, and
performances, organized around three keywords: archiving, connection, and
imagination.
An AC Lab
representative stated, “This festival is not only a celebration of our
achievements but also a point of confluence – a space where diverse streams
merge to create new currents. We wanted to bring together artists, students,
researchers, and other professionals to envision the future landscape of the
arts.”
