The Faculty of Arts and Liberal Studies Gives a Special Lecture, “The Essential Legal Knowledge for Myself: How to Protect the Performing Arts Works by Copyright”


 

On Wednesdays from 10 to 17 May, the Faculty of Arts and Liberal Studies of K-Arts gave a special spring lecture series, “The Essential Legal Knowledge for Myself: How to Protect the Performing Arts Works by Copyright.” Each semester, the Faculty of Arts and Liberal Studies has arranged a special lecture series on contemporary concerns and issues related to the arts.

 

In this lecture series, professor and lawyer Hong Seung-ki (Inha University Law School) spoke about copyright for the works of performing arts and copyright contracts for protecting the rights of the works and artists with many related cases regarding the topic. The event was prepared to help the artists in performing arts be better aware of the ways to protect their works and themselves through copyright, from which they could make healthier ecology of the field.
