On-Art Concert by K-Arts, Incheon Airport, and Korea Mecenat Association Concludes Successfully

K-Arts successfully concluded the On-Art Concert, the main program of the 2025 On-Art Festival, held at Incheon International Airport on December 13, 2025. The concert took place at the K-Culture Museum located in Terminal 1 of the airport.

The concert was part of the Incheon On-Art Youth Orchestra Project, a collaboration between K-Arts, Incheon Airport, and the Korea Mecenat Association. The project aims to provide local students from Yeongjeong Island and nearby regions with access to high-quality artistic experiences and structured music education, while also offering young artists practical, hands-on experience opportunities for growth.

The On-Art Youth Orchestra, composed of 39 members trained over the past year by professional instructors from the School of Music, delivered a captivating performance under conductor Jung Yeji, the orchestra’s music director and a K-Arts Conducting graduate. Their renditions of Waldteufel’s “Skater’s Waltz” and Brahms’s “Hungarian Dance No. 5” were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

A highlight of the event was the collaborative performance with the On-Art Harmony Chorus, a group of 36 middle-aged community members, presented under the theme of harmony for empathy across generations. The heartfelt duet of youthful instrumentals and mature voices on the songs “First Love” and “Let’s Meet When the First Snow Falls” resonated deeply with both local residents and travelers passing through the airport.

Beyond providing instruction, K-Arts took a central role in shaping the program – developing the educational curriculum, planning subscription concerts, and leading social contribution efforts as a national art educational institution. Participating students enhanced their musical and artistic capacities through specialized programs designed to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Looking ahead, K-Arts, in close partnership with Incheon Airport and Korea Mecenat Association, plans to continue advancing locally tailored art and culture education models and nurture future artistic talents while promoting community-centered growth.
