School of Dance’s 30^th Anniversary Performance and Exhibition, RE: MOVE ERA, Concludes Successfully

The School of Dance, under Dean Na Kyungah, successfully hosted its 30th anniversary performance and exhibition series, RE: MOVE ERA, from August 21 to 23 at the Haeoreum Grand Theater of the National Theater of Korea. 

Established in 1996, the School of Dance has trained numerous professionals active on the global stage. The commemorative program explored the future direction of dance education and art across generations and genres. The title RE: MOVE ERA conveys the vision to “RE”flect on the past, open a new “ERA,” and move forward through dance “MOVE”ments.

Uniting ballet, contemporary, and traditional dances, the event brought together current students and alumni to highlight the school’s achievements and future vision. On August 21, current students performed alongside world-renowned alumni—including Kim Kimin, Lee Eunwon, Han Sungwoo, Joung Eunyoung, An Jaeyong, Park Sunmi, and Jeon Minchul—in K-ARTS Conservatory 2026 and Don Quixote Suite, directed by Kim Kimin.

On August 22 and 23, a diverse program of contemporary and traditional works followed, featuring Shin Changho’s Symmetry, Ahn Sungsoo’s Swing Again, Jun Sungjae’s Tomorrow Recalled, Ahn Duckki’s 100 Years with Body, and Jung Jaehyuk’s Hang-Out. Concurrently, a commemorative exhibition titled RE: MOVE ERA: Times of Motion, organized into four zones, traced the school’s history and showcased alumni accomplishments in the lobby of the National Theater of Korea.
