The Student Support Center Holds the Event “2019 Art Mun: Hear from Our Graduates”

The student support center at the Korea National University of Arts prepared an event, “2019 Art Mun: Hear from Our Graduates,” to support the current students who are searching for career opportunities in the fields of arts. Kim Yeong Hoon, who majored in architecture at the School of Visual Arts, and Park Jae Young, who majored in multimedia at the School of Film, TV & Multimedia, participated in this event as mentors. 

The mentors shared their student life as well as job-hunting experiences and had Q&A sessions with current students on this topic. They also introduced the institutes they were currently working for and gave some specific tips on how to prepare for applying for these jobs. Kim Yeong Hoon, who now works in the innovation task force team at the Seoul Arts Center front office, gave a talk at the session, “Doing Arts at the Seoul Arts Center,” on October 1st. Park Jae Young, a producer at Educational Broadcasting System (EBS), gave a talk at the session, “I Studied Arts and Became a Producer,” on October 7th. He especially shared his internship experiences at some major companies in Korea such as Hanwha Group and Kakao M. Each session accommodated up to about 10 students. 

Any current students who were interested in were welcome to sign up for the event.
