The School of Music Live Streams Beethoven’s Complete Piano Sonatas Online

The School of Music decided to live stream all the remaining concerts of Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas. 

The School of Music organized the concert series “250th Strum and Drang” to celebrate the 250th birthday of Beethoven. Initially, only the first concert of the series on March 27th was scheduled to be streamed online. Following the first streaming on Naver TV, however, there were requests from the internet audience for further streaming service, and correspondingly, the entire concert series was re-arranged to be live-streamed online via Naver TV and Vlive over seven times. 

The live-streaming schedule of the concert series is as in the following: from sonatas no. 11 to no.15 on May 30th, from sonatas no.16 to no.21 on June 27th, from sonatas no.22 to no.26 on September 26th and October 31st, and from sonatas no.27 to no.29 on November 28th. The concert series will finish up with the last streaming of the late parts of sonatas from no.30 to no.32 on December 17th, commemorating Beethoven’s birthday on December 16th.
