Alumnus Poet Yoo Hee-Kyung Releases New Publication <Words from the Twinkling Night>

A new collection of proses, Words from the Twinkling Night, by poet Yoo Hee-Kyung, alumnus of the School of Drama, came out. It is his first prose anthology after twelve years since his debut. The poet compiled 135 proses he had written for over ten years. He said he worked on them whenever he had moments of “quietude.” Overall, the collection is in two parts – “Words from the Night” and “Proses from the Night.” In “Words from the Night,” the poet tells stories behind 115 words while “Proses from the Night” read the twenty letters. The poet closely captures and depicts the layers of emotions lingering in a day of life using his subtle language.

Yoo Hee-Kyung majored in theatre writing in the School of Drama and debuted through the Spring Literary Contest organized by Chosun Ilbo. Ever since, he published three poetry books, Words this Morning, Where You Stand – How to Grow Trees, and Those that Used to be Eternal.
