The film Minari (2020), starring actress Han Yeri, who studied in the School of Korean Traditional Arts, received a nomination from the 78th Golden Globes in Best Foreign Language Movie. Starting from the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance, Director Lee Issac Chung’s Minari (2020) conquered several more awards up to about sixty awards in total in the categories of the original screenplay, best-supporting actress, and others in the National Society of Film Critics. The film’s stunning accomplishments are indeed elevating expectations for entering the Oscars. Besides, Han Yeri took the Best Actress Prize at the Golden List Award by the Coalition of Asia Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE). The release of Minari in Korea will take place in March.
