Ranks 1st in the Country, 36th in the World in QS World
University Rankings in Performing Arts
In the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2021 released on March 4, K-Arts ranked 36th in performing arts, ranking best placement among Korean universities. The school also settled in the top 100 in the Arts & Design category, tied for second in Korea. K-Arts entered the top 50 for the first and only arts university in South Korea in 2016 when the rakings in the performing arts category were first released. It has been steadily maintained a high rank over the past three years ever since.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the school tried the
best to communicate with the society through various non-face-to-face channels,
such as ‘K-Arts Online Daily Hope Concert’ for people exhausted from the
situation, online screenings, online exhibitions, and several online
performances for overseas audiences from Britain, Austria, Italy, Poland, and
Hungary.
