Alumna Director Seo Eun-young’s Go Back (2021) Hits Indie Art Film Box Office
Go Back (2021), a film by director
Seo Eun-young who graduated from the School of Film, TV & Multimedia, was
released on February 24th, 2021. Even preceding the release date, the
film showed the highest rate of ticket sales. It continued its first placement
in the indie art film box office till March.
Go Back is a crime thriller about a child who disappeared on the day of an unprecedented kidnapping that demanded a national donation of 100 million Korean won (approx.. USD 88,000) for seven days. It follows a social worker who is upset at a parent who abused the child, a police officer suspecting the social worker, and a courageous confession of a child who appeared.
Go Back is the winner of the Distribution Award at the
Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2020.
