School
of Visual Arts Offers Online Exhibition to Present Outcomes from Foundation &
Studio Courses
From
21 June 21 (10 a.m.) to 25 July 21 (6 p.m.), the School of Visual Arts hosts an
online exhibition that presents outcomes from foundation & studio courses.
Sixty-nine students of the Department of Fine Arts and Department of Art Theory
took part in this exhibition.
On
the whole, the exhibition is composed of outcomes from four courses. First is
“Foundation & Studio 1: Experience of Senses (Drawing Lab).” This course
aims to re-approach observing and drawing through the human body from which
people’s cognitive processing begins. Through workshops and cooperation with
other classes, it encourages open-minded thinking through connecting with
others. Other than that, “Foundation & Studio 2: Stories and Collection”
focuses on narratives between aesthetic subject and object. In “Foundation
& Studio 3: Action and Behavior,” the students explore relations between
arts and behaviors from practical and theoretical perspectives. The “Foundation
& Studio 4: Foundation and Transition” individually or as a group
investigates various expressive forms of arts such as objects, installations,
videos, or performances.
