School
of Korean Traditional Arts Participates in “Pohang AI Concert: Mit-doduri Rhythm by Mathematical Analysis and AI Computer Composition”
At “Pohang AI Concert: Mit-doduri Rhythm (one of Korean traditional rhythm patterns) by Mathematical Analysis and Computer Composition” from June 11 through 12, K-Arts professors Geong Soo-neon, Kim Jeong-seun, and Yoo Young-ju of School of Korean Traditional Arts showcased their performances. In addition to the School of Korean Traditional Arts team from K-Arts, the experts from POSTECH Institute of Artificial Intelligence (PIAI), POSTECH Math Department, Onseok University, Yeoju Institute of Technology were present at this concert.
With the lead of
professor Geong Soo-neon, professors Kim Jeong-seun and Yoo Young-ju played
artificially re-written music script of Mit-doduri, the masterpiece of Korean
