A Horror Film <Guimoon: The Lightless Door> Starring Actor Lee Jung-hyung to be Released in August

 The first film in the world to film the whole movie in 8K, Guimoon: The Lightless Door (2021), starring actor Lee Jung-hyung (School of Drama) is waiting for its release in August after having film production press online on July 19th. 

Shim Duk-geun’s Guimoon: The Lightless Door brings fear to the audience as following the story of curious college students with a director of Psychic Research Center who step into an abandoned training center in Guisari which had gone shut down after mass murder in 1990. Lee Jung-hyung starred as Tae-hoon, a college student who went to the training center to shoot a video for a competition. Lee said, “In real life, I get easily intimidated. And when I’m scared, I get upset and shiver in fear. So I thought the character Tae-hoon fits well with me. The half of Tae-hoon is like real me.” Besides, production companies Ghost Pictures of Jupiter Film and CJ 4DPlex strategically cooperated from the pre-production stage to create the movie. It is the first Korean film to plan, shoot, and produce in three different screen formats: 2D, ScreenX, and 4DX. It is also the first film in the world to film the whole movie in 8K.
