Writer Seo Jang-won Publishes an Anthology The Stories You Don’t Know Of

Seo Jang-won, an alumna who majored in Playwriting at the School of Drama, published The Stories You Don’t Know Of, an anthology of short stories. Seo is a rising writer, calling attention as a second author to obtain the title of “Today’s Young Literature” granted by the Dasan Books. 

She wrote six short stories for two years when he was studying in the School of Drama. Only a year after he had earned the Master of Arts, she debuted as a writer through the 2020 Dong-A Ilbo Spring Literary Contest. In The Stories You Don’t Know Of, Seo listed nine short stories, including her debut piece, “Before the Sun Sets.” Her writings are said to capture with refined sentences and delicate perspective the signs of catastrophes beyond the seemingly mundane everyday life.
