Three Dancers of the School of Dance Win in the 2021 Tanzolymp Asia

Three of our School of Dance students won awards in the Contemporary Dance at the 2021 Tanzolymp Asia held in Oulim Nuri Arts Center in Goyang from 28 Aug. 21 (Sat.) to 31 Aug. 21 (Sun.) All winners were our current students studying Contemporary Dance in the Department of Dance Performance.

Lee Chaewon earned the Grand Prix for the Senior Male, Kim Jeongyun acquired the Gold Prize for the Senior Male, and Kim Ye-eun took the Silver Prize for the Senior Female. Celebrating the 5th anniversary, Tanzolymp Asia is a preliminary round for the final in Tanzolymp Berlin. Each year, dancers of arts schools from ten Asian countries, including Taiwan, Mongolia, Singapore, Japan, China, and Hong Kong, compete.

The winners of the Tanzolymp Asia are granted sponsorship for preparing for the final in Berlin and chances of various dance auditions.
