K-Arts Joins the European Association of Conservatories, Building a Bridgehead for Expanding Global Exchange

Beginning on 1 April 2022, first time in Korea, the K-Arts became a member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC). Accordingly, the K-Arts takes another step to represent an art school in Korea.

The AEC is an institution established in Belgium in 1953 that aimed to play the role of a think tank that heightens the value of higher education in music, encourages the exchange between the member countries, and pursues the advancement and innovation of arts education. As of 2022, it has about 300 member institutions from more than 57 countries. As a member, the K-Arts will run a trial of the European Online Application System this year to meet the needs of increasing international students in K-Arts and develop the various cooperative international exchange projects.
